Crewsense Games Privacy Policy
The short version
- Our games have no accounts and never ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Your game progress stays on your device.
- Our games are free and show ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may process some device and usage information, as described below.
- In games made for children, every ad request is marked as directed at children: ads are never personalised, are limited to content suitable for all ages, and the advertising ID is not used.
- We don't sell any information, and we don't run servers that collect it.

1. Who we are and what this covers
Crewsense ("we", "us") makes mobile games. This policy explains what information our games handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to every game we publish on Google Play, including the games listed in section 2 and any game we publish later that links to this page. Where a game works differently from what is written here, that difference is noted in section 2.
2. Our games
| Game | Android package | Audience | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dead Lane | com.crewsense.deadlane | General audience (13+) | Ads; optional "lives restored" notification |
| Snake Evolution | com.crewsense.snakeevolution | General audience (13+) | Ads; optional "lives restored" notification |
| Pip's Dragon Haven | com.crewsense.dragonhaven | Designed for children | Child-directed ads only (see section 7); no notifications |
3. What stays on your device
To save your game, our games store the following only on your device:
- game progress: levels or chapters reached, stars, coins, scores, unlocked items and daily reward streaks;
- settings: sound, music and vibration on or off;
- lives and the time until the next life comes back, in games that have lives;
- in some games, a small technical log of the last session (for example, the last screen shown and the device model) that the game uses to notice if it closed unexpectedly.
This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.
4. What we collect
Nothing. We do not run servers for our games and do not collect, receive or store personal information about players. The only information that leaves your device is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK needs to show ads, described in section 5.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Our games are free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Depending on the game, you may see:
- interstitial ads: full-screen ads that can appear between levels, never during play;
- rewarded video ads: optional videos you choose to watch for a reward, such as extra moves, a life or bonus coins. A rewarded video only plays when you tap a button that offers it.
To show ads, limit how often they appear, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers | The Android advertising ID (only in games for a general audience) or an app-scoped identifier |
| Approximate location | Country or region worked out from your IP address; never precise GPS location |
| App and ad interactions | Ads shown, taps on ads, video views |
| Device and app information | Device model, operating system version, language, app version |
| Diagnostics | Crash logs and performance data from the ads SDK |
In games for a general audience, ads may be personalised based on your advertising ID, subject to your choices in section 6. In games made for children, ads are never personalised (see section 7).
This information is handled by Google under its own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- How Google uses advertising
6. Your ad choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). In games for a general audience, Google's consent form asks whether you agree to personalised ads the first time you open the game. If you don't agree, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalised. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy button in the game's menu.
- Personalised ads everywhere. On most Android devices you can opt out of ad personalisation, or reset or delete your advertising ID, in Settings > Google > Ads (on some devices Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Rewarded videos are only ever shown when you tap to watch one.
7. Children's privacy
Games for a general audience
Games marked "General audience (13+)" in section 2 are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Games designed for children
Games marked "Designed for children" in section 2 follow Google Play's Families policy and the principles of the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU and UK GDPR for children:
- every ad request is tagged as child-directed and as coming from a user under the age of consent, so Google shows only non-personalised ads (no interest-based advertising or remarketing), limited to content rated suitable for all ages (G);
- the game does not use the advertising ID; the permission is removed from the app;
- we use only ads SDKs that Google has certified for apps for children (Google AdMob);
- there are no accounts, chat, social features, user-generated content, links to social networks or in-app purchases;
- we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children (or anyone else).
If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, or believe information about your child has been collected, contact us at the address in section 16 and we will help.
8. Notifications
Some games (see section 2) can show a notification when all your lives have come back. These notifications are scheduled locally by the game on your device; no information is sent to a server to deliver them. On Android 13 and later the game asks for permission first, and you can turn notifications off at any time in your device's settings (Settings > Apps > [game] > Notifications).
9. Device permissions
| Permission | Why a game uses it |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | To load and show ads |
| Advertising ID | Used by AdMob for advertising, in games for a general audience only |
| Notifications | For the optional "lives restored" reminder, in games that have it |
| Vibration | Short vibrations for feedback during play (can be switched off in the game) |
Our games do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
10. Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information, and we don't share any information with third parties ourselves. The only data that leaves your device is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK processes to show ads, as described in section 5.
11. Keeping and deleting data
- Game data stays on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling a game, or clearing its storage in Settings > Apps > [game] > Storage, deletes it permanently. We keep no copy, so we cannot restore lost progress.
- Advertising data is kept by Google according to its own policies. In games for a general audience you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
12. Security
Ad requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Game data stored on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox, which prevents other apps from reading it.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR, COPPA, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or California and other US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information, to object to its use, and to withdraw consent.
Because we don't collect or hold personal information, there is nothing about you stored by us to access or delete. For data processed by Google to show ads, you can use the choices in section 6 and Google's privacy tools at myaccount.google.com. You are always welcome to contact us, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
14. International transfers
Google may process advertising data in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
15. Changes to this policy
When we publish a new game we add it to section 2. If our games change how they handle information, we will update this policy, post the new version at this address and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the games' update notes.
